North Arkansas Dance Theatre

MISSION STATEMENT

 The mission of the North Arkansas Dance Theatre is to provide Arkansas communities and schools with a rich cultural experience through the fine art of classical ballet and other dance forms.

The goals established to achieve this mission are to:

• Train each dancer to a professional level of technical proficiency.
   

• Provide programs designed to educate school children through lecture demonstrations.
   

• Produce a major ballet each year to enhance community awareness and appreciation of cultural arts.
   

• Strengthen the character of each dancer through hard work, self-discipline, and time management.
   

• Contract with professional dancers and choreographers to perform with North Arkansas Dance Theatre, exposing dancers and audiences to the highest level of accomplishment.
   

• Ensure the preservation of the great classical ballets and to encourage the production of new, innovative, and challenging ballets.
